In keeping with its dedication to awarding new artistic and creative experiences to the youth, Sharjah Public Library (SPL), a subsidiary of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), curated a workshop themed ‘Stop Motion’ to introduce them to the fundamentals of cinema. The workshop was attended by 16 children aged 8-12 years.

 

It aimed to educate eager young minds on the fundamentals of special effects, which so often capture their imaginations, and introduced them to the ‘Stop Motion Studio’ app – the world’s first app that turns stories into animations. The workshop enabled the kids to learn the basics of special effects, and also stimulated them to read using latest technological innovations.
