Date: - Dec 08, 2022

Sharjah Public Libraries (SPL) concluded "Career Builder Forum 2", held in all branches of Sharjah Public Libraries, from December 7 to 8, a platform aiming to develop the capabilities of fresh graduate students and job hunters, increasing their odds in the job market.

The SPL held various programmes on the second day of the forum, starting with an Emirati entrepreneur Latifa Haider's session, part of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre "Sheraa", in which she discussed her project, a digital platform that she established, opening the gates to real estate for Emirati women. In addition, she provided a comprehensive picture of the world of major companies, identifying the challenges faced in real estate and how to overcome them.

Trainer Maha Al Nahdi presented an interactive training workshop, inviting the participants to explore their talents and abilities on their own, especially those wishing to establish their own businesses, in an attempt to form a positive correlation between a person's success in his work and his/her passion towards a specific professional or commercial specialty.

After that, the human resources trainer, Dr. Mohammad Herzallah, the consultant at the Emirates Program for Excellence in Government Service, gave an interactive workshop where he invited some attendees to share the platform to share their personal experiences in job hunting. In addition, he covered several critical points regarding job interviews, providing valuable tips on preparing for a job interview.
